This pageant is a fun and exciting event that has been exclusively designed for women that are expecting a baby and looking to redefine motherhood. The Ms. Maternity pageant is open to mothers that are married, single, or divorced. Expectant mothers that are at least 21 years old and between 16 and 36 weeks gestation by July 26th are eligible to apply for the competition. The lucky mothers-to-be will win the opportunity to be the Ms. Maternity Official Representative. As the official representative, the pageant winner will be dedicated to having and promoting healthy pregnancies and families. The pregnancy pageant winners will redefine motherhood and pregnancy as something to be enjoyed and celebrated. The winner of Ms. Maternity USA 2008 will be the official representative of the pageant for one year, even after she has welcomes her newest addition.
Pageant contestants will compete for an enormous prize package that will joyfully welcome their newest addition to the family. The prize package is filled with items that are pregnancy, childbirth, and baby related. Each and every contestant will walk away with a prize package of their own including a special baby shower for all contestants. By entering the competitions, this will allow the new mommies the opportunity to gain new friendships with other mothers, whether the first time mom or the veteran mother.
The contestants will compete in all low risk competitions, including personal interview, casual wear, evening gown, and an on stage interview. There will also be optional competitions available for those interested contestants. Everything needed to compete is probably already in the closet. The pageant will be held July 26th, 2008 at Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida.
